2021 ARRL Field Day is June 26-27

Field Day is ham radio's open house. Every June, more than 40,000 hams throughout North America set up temporary transmitting stations in public places to demonstrate ham radio's science, skill and service to our communities and our nation. It combines public service, emergency preparedness, community outreach, and technical skills all in a single event. Field Day has been an annual event since 1933, and remains the most popular event in ham radio.

The North Florida Amateur Radio Club (https://qsl.net/nf4rc/) will operate for the 2021 ARRL Field Day from the Alachua County Emergency Operations Center, Gainesville, FL. We will use the EOC Station call sign NF4AC. Here is link to our field plans in an ICS 201 format https://qsl.net/nf4rc/2021/NFARCDraftICS201.pdf

Doing just three things can make a difference when disaster strikes.

  • Get a Plan, before disaster strikes
  • Take a first aid course or learn CPR, add to your survival skills
  • When disaster strikes, make sure you and your family are safe, and check on your neighbors
